ISO27001 Certification for Datacentreplus

We are very pleased to announce that Datacentreplus now has its ISO 27001 certification. This means that we have been independently audited by an external company to ensure that we comply with all the requirements of the regulation.

ISO 27001 (ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to give it its full name) is the international standard that describes best practice for data and information security management. Achieving accredited certification to ISO 27001 demonstrates that a company is following information security best practice, and provides an independent, expert verification that information security is managed in line with international best practice and business objectives.

Obtaining ISO 27001 certification is not an easy task and required the concentrated efforts of many members of our team over several months and included both technical and non-technical staff.

As well as other recent investments, like our power and UPS upgrades earlier in the year, this represents another major commitment by us in ensuring that our customers are always at the forefront of everything we do.

What does this actually mean for you? By hosting with us, you can be assured:

  • That we have Independently audited verification of your data and information.
  • That we meet local and global security standards.
  • We have carried out risk assessments in all aspects of our operation that impact data security.
  • We have policies in place to protect data and in managing any data breaches.
  • We regularly review all of the above.

Operations Manager, Syed Ali, says:

“Achieving ISO 27001 certification means that we are recognised by external auditors as being a company that is heavily invested in protecting data and having good practices to minimise the risk of security breaches.”

If you would further information about how we protect customer data, please contact us at any time.
